On the occasion of Locarno’s Notte Bianca (White Night) on Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Palacinema will host “Animali di tutto il mondo” (Animals of the World), a series of animated short films without dialogue, designed for adults and children alike. Two screenings are scheduled, at 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., both with free admission.
The audience will be transported on a poetic, entertaining, and surprising journey through the animal kingdom, told with lightness and imagination in nine short films from around the world. From France to Switzerland, Mexico to Estonia, each short film offers an original look at nature and its inhabitants: a zebra that changes color, a curious lynx in the city, a magic soup, blue chickens, dancing herrings, and much more.
