Yusuf shuttled back and forth between his home in the countryside and turbulent Jerusalem, dreaming of a future far from the unrest. With the increase in the number of Jewish immigrants coming from fascist Europe and the demands for independence by the Palestinians, everyone is moving closer to an inevitable clash.
